Why use a watermark

A “Copy” or “Provided to the bank” stamp on a scanned passport or statement reduces the risk of the document being used for another purpose.

FAQ

What should I write on a passport copy?

To whom and for what purpose the copy is provided, plus the date, for example: “Copy for Romashka LLC, lease agreement, 09.2026”.

Can the watermark be removed?

The text is placed over the page as a separate layer; it may be possible to remove it in a PDF editor. To make the watermark part of the image, save the pages as JPG and rebuild the PDF.

Will the document text be visible?

Yes, the text is semi-transparent; opacity is adjustable.
